Tour is held as part of the base open house, called
Fort D. A. Russell Days. Homes Tour primary focus
is to educate the community about the history of
the base and the homes. This is done by allowing
the community to tour the “bricks” during the first
Sunday of Cheyenne Frontier Days, July
25th,
from 9 AM to 3 PM. Homes Tour is a great volunteer
opportunity! Volunteers act as tour guides for all
of the houses on the tours. Period dress is
required, but the Warren Spouses Club maintains a
closet of costumes for just this purpose. We will
be having dress fittings on June
24th
from
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and July 10th
from
10:00 AM to 12:30 AM at the Frontier Closet located
in the Thrift Shop, 6709 10th
Calvary, #315. If
you choose to join us there is an appreciation Ice
Cream Social. If you would like to volunteer to
